The lab, that is part of the IT organization of the Group of Biomedical Sciences, will apply itself to developing 3D and virtual and augmented reality applications for practical education within the 3 faculties of the Biomedical Sciences Group. Apart from the development, the lab will also have an advisory role for the purchases of specific VR and AR hardware. In addition, we invest in a strong collaboration with partners of the KU Leuven such as the Learning Lab, AGORA, LIMEL and the UZ imaging lab.

Website and inspirational sessions

We invite you to take a look at our website. There, you will find more information about our goals, the technology we use, the different possibilities of application, tools to work on your own concept and a section with the most frequently asked questions. You can even download a small demo to try out on your own KU Leuven PC.

In the next months, we will also offer inspirational sessions to the different faculties in order to acquaint all the employees with the possibilities of the technology.
