By air

Leuven is located about 25 km from Brussels National Airport. There is a frequent railway service from the airport to Leuven. By car, follow the highway E40 in the direction of Luik/Liege.

By train/bus

The railway station of Leuven is located about 4 km from the Hospital. Buses depart every 10 minutes from the station to U.Z. Gasthuisberg. The bus stop is located opposite of the main entrance of the Hospital.

  • Via highway E40 (coming from Brussels or Luik):
    Between exit 22 and 23, take the highway E314 (Leuven-Hasselt-Genk). Take exit 17 and follow the direction 'U.Z. Leuven'.
  • Via highway E314 (coming from Hasselt):
    Take exit 17 and follow the direction 'U.Z. Leuven'.
Inside the hospital
  • From the visitor parking and main entrance, follow the PURPLE arrow
  • The division of nuclear medicine is located at floor 0.
