ISO certification

Currently, the department is acquiring an ISO (International Standardization Organisation) certification and accreditation by the EANM (European Association for Nuclear Medicine). The Division of Nuclear Medicine will be the first in Belgium to obtain ISO certification as a PET center.

As the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) become available, they are put on-line here (in Dutch - in a first time for internal use only). These on-line documents are the official versions - one signed copy is held with the head of the division.

The English version of the 5 most predominant SOPs, as required for European accreditation, will be made available as well.

The completion of the ISO certification is estimated in the course of 2004.

GMP certification

The Department of Radiopharmacy is currently acquiring a certification as Good Manufactering Practice (GMP) center. Public domain documents will also be made available here.
