Cell Imaging Core

The Cell Imaging Core (CIC) at K.U.Leuven is a collaborative network of scientists who are using fluorescence microscopy to investigate biological questions. The CIC is meant to integrate and improve the expertise in fluorescence imaging, ranging from single molecule visualization to imaging of integrated cell systems. The core facility has several advanced cell imaging systems located at Campus Gasthuisberg (2-photon and single photon confocal microscopes designed for live imaging) as well as advanced equipment and know-how for single-molecule and correlation microspectroscopy at the Campus Arenberg. The CIC operates in close collaboration with LiMoNe (VIB, imaging network).
