Molecular and Developmental Genetics
Mission statement
The Molecular and Developmental Genetics (MDG) programme emphasizes the discovery of genetic and molecular principles that regulate the development, function and pathology of living systems.
Students can choose to perform their doctoral thesis research in one of over 20 research units that use cutting-edge embryological, cellular, molecular and computational approaches applied to human genetics and various model systems including primary culture cells, stem cells, Drosophila, zebrafish, Xenopus and mouse models.
We will continue to build this interactive and exciting programme to better meet the challenges of research of tomorrow. To help accomplish this, we invite you to provide feedback on the programme or share any other concerns with us.
