Do you still have a MED domain? Make an appointment with IT

After years of loyal service the MED domain ceases to exist at the end of June 2017. Users who still have a computer in this domain urgently have to make an appointment for migration to the new LUNA domain. From January 2017 certain hardware will not be supported anymore.

After years of loyal service the MED domain ceases to exist at the end of June 2017. Users who still have a computer in this domain urgently have to make an appointment for migration to the new LUNA domain. From January 2017 certain hardware will not be supported anymore.

Who?

  • If your computer has a tag with a name like  XXX-WRK-XXXX (eg. LEG-WRK-0129) or XXX-XXXX-MAC (eg. VRC-MAC-0048).
  • If you get a popup window for quite some time when you start your system where the migration is announced.

How?

Make an appointment at the practical migration calendar of IT.

Why?

The new LUNA domain has many advantages such as increased performance, one password for all applications (Single Sign On principle), increased safety and newer technology. The old domain MED has depreciated hardware (servers) that are no longer renewed. From January 2017 the Exx10 series and Optiplex 780 will no longer be supported.
